is a Petite Retreat?
A Petite Retreat is a small custom retreat tailored to meet
specific needs of groups and/or individuals. They are ideally suited for 8-15
women and can last anywhere from two to four days, depending on the level of
training desired.

Who organizes
and leads these events?
She Leads
founder, Janet Ables, has spent the past 20 years in ministry serving in a
variety of ways. Most recently, she served as Director of Women’s Ministry at
Atascadero Bible Church where she developed and implemented a growing women’s
ministry which included Bible studies, Mom2Mom, retreats, conferences,
leadership development, mentoring and women’s counseling. She has also authored
four books and spoken at conferences and retreats throughout the United States
and around the world. Janet has a passion to help other women identify and walk
out the calling God has placed on their lives. Petite Retreats are merely the
latest way she has developed to accomplish this goal and her team is excited to
help you identify and walk out your Kingdom call.

A member of our team will work with you in advance to create
a retreat specifically designed with you and your needs in mind but here are a

Where
do Petite Retreats take place?
All of our retreats are hosted at “The Nest: a guesthouse”
located on the beautiful Central Coast of California.
What amenities
does The Nest offer?
The Nest
is a 3 bedroom guesthouse which comfortably houses up to 10 guests (additional
guests are housed nearby in a vacation rental property). The grounds at The Nest
include a swimming pool, hot tub, tennis courts and an outdoor fireplace. She
Leads and The Nest will provide housing, meals, and a custom designed program
throughout your visit.
How
much does a Petite Retreat cost?
Petite Retreats are offer on a “pay what you can” basis and
we only ask that each individual and/or group pray over their participation in
an event and respond by donating “whatever they can” to the ongoing costs of
ministry.

Refresh Conferences
I've recently begun partnering with Worship Leader, Kellie Wenzel and Bible teacher, Kristin Miller, to provide one and two day conferences for churches and women’s groups. These events are an excellent way to provide women with a retreat type experience without leaving town. Choose from any of my themes or topics and we'll will help you plan a conference specifically designed to meet the needs of the ladies in your church.Kristin and I provide the teaching. Kellie handles the worship worship. You simply provide the facility. This is a great, low-cost, low-stress way to minister to the women in your church and community––also excellent outreach events!
